Like Sly Stallone.. I think he's around that height. In the movies, they always had to figure out ways to make him look taller, whether it be to stand on something or be on even ground or what have you.
He looked big and tough on film but wasn't so big looking in person (at least not vertically).

Agreed. Same thing they do with Cruise. I have heard they do a lot of the camera stuff when he stands next to his female costars, and sometimes he has had to wear taller heeled shoes, while they are barefoot, and so forth.

I remember reading about that guy in LOTR who played the drawf was actually the tallest person on the set. He's like 6' 2" or something like that. They definately knew what to do with all the tricky camera stuff.

I used to work at a hotel in Hollywood and met a lot of celebrities. You'd be surprised at how many of them are short. I guess because you are so used to looking up at a giant screen, or looking up at the stage for the big rock stars, that you don't really think of them as real live people. LOL!
