Okay, I'll give MY WORD, right here on this board. If CDSmith tells me that he loves me - I'm gonna eat my shorts. But, please remember, this is not a contractual promise, this is a GFY escrow promise. Who wants to be intermediate?

Sorry Guys and Gals- I forgot to mention we have inserted HOMEGROWNVIDEO at $30 PPS at http://XPays.com

CDSmith, you're a smart guy. But, I sense you would love me more if I had a higher post count. Please don't tell me you're that shallow. I honestly thought we had a future together.

To me, sounds like Eight may know a thing or two. Don't let the postcount fool you.

If anyone who knows anything about domains would name two people in this biz who would understand the issue at hand, I bet you a million Dombuyers that they'd say Slavik and Webfather. It would be soooo cool to know what they have to say about this matter (granted, Slavik is involved in this little incident but that doesn't take away one fucking bit of his credibility).
And you know what, since I'm a betting man, I'm gonna bet that they WILL have something to say about this matter. And Dombuyer isn't gonna like that. |
And for all you retards, let me quote 12clicks for a moment..."Respect your betters".
I can say right now that Topbucks lost 20 signups per day becasue some fucking retard sales chick named Trisha fucked up and took Dombuys side in the initial thread about this. The rest of you sponsors know who I am. |

I'll take that challenge! :321GFY I was the one sitting in a bar in Las Vegas at a convention the very first of it's kind and I told WebFather what to do with all those domains, go for it, he WILL confirm. There are a lot of people who know about domains, but you all need to stop slaming each other and get back to work, there are some big deals in the works these days and all this is a waste of everyones time! Just my opinion! :321GFY |

Nice one Evan, you will not remember, I've been very low key the last five years, but we met, exchanged a few drinks in Chicago, had a great time. Nice domain :-) |

Attacking Slavik on GFY over this was a mistake.

it's refreshing to see that a lot of warrior domain people see some of the things that i have been thinking. dombuyer needs to at least buy a little banner here already and establish himself in a new way to have some growth imho, but it's his biz and not mine, nice to catch up with you and everybody have a great weekend! :) |

A) a cocky condescending attitude and B) an attitude that tells me you are actually someone 'probably' known and established who is using the name "eight", a name I don't ever recall seeing in all my nearing 8 years of experience in this business. No, I judge no one solely on post count. In fact, I tend to not "judge" anyone per se, with the exception of what they say and how they say it of course. When I choose to take my own business to someone else, I tend to gravitate towards those who I know and preferably those who have exhibited some semblance of grace and professionalism, and who are people of their word. I find you can tell a lot about a person's character in what they say and how they say it, anon nick or not. However, it's just as much a crap shoot as an exact science. The questionables certainly outweigh the givens by a considerable margin. /ramblings. |

I have no idea who you are and really honestly don't want to get involved in this, but I will tell you this: A) If someone can buy someting, anything at $10 and sell it at $30 more power to them! I run 2 restaurants and my job and my responsibility to my staff is to make a profit damn it! Enough said :321GFY P.S. Not taking sides! :pimp |

And what is with the crap in your next post about "Respect your betters"? Respect is earned and behaving poorly isn't exactly the way to go. I couldn't have cared less about the original issue and I wouldn't know Dombuyer, Aga or whoever if I fell over them. But it pisses me off that every time someone is put down for behaving badly, instead of just putting their hands up, they and their crew turn up to bury us in bullshit and snide comments aimed at discrediting their critic. That's a tired old tactic which is an insult to the intelligence of everyone here. If someone doesn't want other people saying negative things about them, it's simple: don't give them cause to do so. |

LOL, Hey Slav :1orglaugh |
Haha, Slavik is back!
Okay, let me ask you all this....If somone can MAKE a great deal in a "free" country, is it no then our right to BACK OUT of a bad deal? I mean, before the contract is signed, there has to me room to maneuver, isn't that right? Isn't that what make s good business man? Oh, and for the record. I was just approached by Lord Aga (whom I've just met passing by once before), and looked at some of the correspondance and I can see why Dombuyer chose not to sue, hahaha, it's pretty pathetic. The guy actually sent money BEFORE they even agreed on a price! |

The title of this thread and it's existance really is what I find unprofessional. But I suppose it creates more overall interest and in the end... more business. Drama is like that. But at some point I find myself wondering... when do we rise above this sort of shit? When is a person "big" enough to just get on with it and get over it and be the bigger person about it? I don't know, it's just the way my mind works. I like to get into the board drama and slams and burns and kiddy retaliations as much as the next guy, but when it comes to the business side of thnngs that's where it ends.... for me. And.... a deal is still a deal where I come from. Not taking sides at all here, as I don't claim to know what went down other than what's been posted. I'm just saying that to me a person is only as good as their word, and your word is your bond. I try to live up to that and I expect no less in others who deal with me. Unrealistic? Probably so.... which is why I tend to do most of what I need done myself as opposed to hiring someone. |
