Yeah, theres a big difference between India and Indonesia in terms of drugs. India is practically overrun with weed and other psychadelics in some parts, and the police don't care and don't really enforce it. One of my Indian friends went there for 3 weeks over last summer, and he kept getting solicited by everyone to buy right in the open because he was wearing western clothes and they thought he had money.
