I'm not questioning whether the content was good or not, i'm questioning nat's decision to retroactively remove a processor from a paysite.

How do you know which of your clients were using MVC? What about clients who own the software outright and lock you out?

I think when you start down the road of being the moral police for other people you're going to endanger your business.

Your argument is ill thought out and is to be honest, offensive.

Good move. This industry needs to police itself from time to time. Sadly it's not illegal, but all that non-nude close to CP shit needs to go as well as any company that supports it.

People of course will now claim that there may be backdoors, secret logins, etc. but any technical person with decent abilities would still be able to detect this happening.

Both myself and Charlie are and were very well established before NATS came along. We have no reason to desire access to control or see everyone's data. We have no need for it. Jealous competition and jealous unsuccessful people love to start rumors tho. Comes with the territory. There is no "master control panel" no "master login" and no "consipracy" no matter how desperate the sig whores are for one.

"We have no reason to desire access to control or see everyone's data."

ummm, better to be totally honest then - there WOULD be a reason for it :winkwink: - I agree that you don't need to do it though and I don't think you ever have.

"We have no reason to desire access". Obviously some people would. My statement was that we don't. I understand what you mean tho by the difference :)

The only person who "owns" software is the person who wrote it. Everyone else, whether they lease or purchase, is paying for a LICENSE to use it, nothing more.

As for Microsoft.... Bill Gates decides shit like this all the time.
-He had their Java virtual machine removed from IE installations.
-Added popup blockers and defaulted them to on.
-Is in the process of forcing SP2 downloads on everyone.
-Is removing DOS support from Longhorn

Bottom line.... the developers of NATS can do whatever they want, it's their code.

geeksta 05-27-2005 03:44 PM

you know, i read somewhere that these "child modeling sites" basically legal child porn without the "porn" were actually put together by, or encouraged by the parents of these young girls.

basschick 05-27-2005 03:45 PM

just as we've suspected :D

all of my sites are non nude and text. and all of the pictures are older (21-40) women or no women at all, just text. i actually have found that i make more money with this stuff than with the nudie penetration sex stuff. not like i'm a big playa or anything, but i don't have to work a day job anymore to make ends meet, that combined with my contracts with mainstream biz.

FelixFlow 05-27-2005 04:02 PM

don't confuse "Non Nude" with child model sites, moron
