Klingon Translator Needed
The Department of Human Services for Multnomah County in Oregon needs someone who can translate the Klingon language into English. Apparently, some mental health clients in that system refuse to speak any other language thank Klingon.
The Department is seeking translators for 55 languages and Klingon is one of them. Klingon is a language invented for the science fiction series Star Trek and some see it as a complete language with proper grammar and syntax. A county purchasing administrator says: "There are some cases where we've had mental health patients where this was all they would speak."
