People on life support should be put into the hands of their next of kin, when have I ever argued that? That's why we have next of kin. I'm completely in favor of allowing the next of kin to make any decisions for a person on life support, no matter how bad of a situation they're in they should be kept alive if that's what the guardian wants.

When I say defenseless minorities, I'm talking about groups of PEOPLE; gays, illegals... historically blacks, Irish, Italians, Chinese, Natives, etc. Anyone the fear mongers can attack safely to keep us all fighting each other.
