I guess all the paysite owners contacting me on ICQ feel differently lol.

I don't blame you affiliates for trying to put up such a big stink but the reality is if you got bumped to #2 you wouldn't pull your links and you are full of shit to say otherwise IMO.

Paysite owners will add more to their bottom line by getting this traffic.

i noticed after you are vancouver. the other jojo is elsewhere- but yes I think that in a minority of cases you could do a real service but in the majority of cases it could turn out to be a bad move.

Well I certainly don't expect to get any new paysite clients that post in this thread... and clearly you are using this thread as an attempt to further your image in the eyes of affiliates of how great you are :2 cents:

Basically all paysite owners have to do really is read a little :2 cents: and apply!

I don't mind competing with the paysite with legitimate seo,especially if you are doing the seo.;)
But if you are talking about doing a mod rewrite to make se's think all aff links are to return to the root domain thats another matter and fraud.But if they want to compete on a level field , thats fine

do not post your offer unless you are prepared for feedback and opinions. you can call around all day without exposing yourself to the other side of the coin.

anyone who wants to steal my google traffic and promote me, go for it.

I like affiliates who know SEO. You gotta give to get... I also like when my affiliates make sales, it means they will hopefully promote my sites harder. I'm not greedy, plenty of money for everyone to make.

My only real complaint is about first-level domains, not subdomains or using directory keywords. I'm all for affiliates using their search engine SKILLS to get traffic. But registering ashlee-lightspeed.com to snag typeins doesn't take ANY effort or skill.

While we're on the subject, do you expect a sponsor to pay you to mark up the price of google and yahoo traffic? Why wouldn't the sponsor just buy that traffic directly? Again, if you are making doorways and blogs and pages that get naturally listed on the engines, great.

My issue is all about the effort and skill involved. No one wants lazy affiliates sucking them dry.

Although I agree on the fact that mispelled(sp?) :winkwink: domains etc are a bit cheap. But then as someone pointed out, the affiliates brought you all those everyday typeins that we do not get credit for. We hyped your site up and then we get shit for a couple of google hits? Thats just silly.

But targeting keyword paysite A and promoting paysite B is really beyond being stupid.
