    WTF is this? (PayPal)

    Got a message from paypal, they want me to fax them a copy of my passport, drivers license, utility bill etc...

    PayPal is required by law to comply with European Union Anti-Money Laundering regulations by collecting information from customers when they receive more than the set limit in total payments. These steps need to be completed within 180 days to comply with this regulation.

                  Same happend to me to. They have to comply with finance reg's requiring them to confirm indentidies. They just freeze your account if you don't comply, once you send the docs they activate the account again.

                                                      Simple as that.
