Thanks for the day off... uh, I think.
It's actually more of a pain in the ass now than anything when there is a holiday. Many stores are closed, but our lives go on as per normal.

Yeah no day off for me today but the kids are all around. Our daughter's in Sea Cadets, she was in a parade in town yesterday but she's been whining that she has nothing to do today LOL (it sure gets annoying when teenagers whine )

So being the adorable momma that I am, I suggested she go clean her room, now she's gone off to find some friends to play with..

Sure fire way to get a kid being active and getting outside tell them to 'Go clean your room!'
