It ruins the experience. I've seen movies that had bad reviews that I ended up really liking.

Only reviews I ever pay attention to are occasionally the Siskel and Roper television show, and that is only because they play clips from the film, which I get a better idea from if I am going to like a movie or not. I would say 80% of the time if mainstream critics say it's good I generally end up feeling that the movie wasn't worth my time. I have so many favorite movies that were critical bombs

and in regards to their reviews, if its foreign and has men crying they give it a thumbs up. action without a love story gets a thumbs down. the only real review they've done i agreed with was pulp fiction.333-765-551Comment

Movie reviews are a total waste of time. If everyone thought the same then maybe they would be more accurate. How can a total stranger tell you if you will like a movie or not? If I want a movie review I ask my friends and family, I know them well enough to know if I will like a movie based on their review.Comment
