One Stupid Drug Dealer

A 50+ year old man was arrested in San Jose on Thursday. The police estimate he was able to make $200,000 worth of meth every day and a half. That's almost a million a week. But, say he only gets 10% of that distributing so he is netting $100,000 per week. Nice income and all tax free.

So, in the house he had rented for the last 2 years he's been a busy man. How did he get busted? Well, the idiot didn't pay his rent. The landlord went through the eviction process which takes at least 30 days. Now, he has received a notice he is going to be evicted and a summons with the court date on it so he has to know what is going on. What does he do? Nothing! The cop shows up with the landlord on the day he is to be evicted and bam - they find his drug lab as he didn't clean it out of the house. He ought to get a stupid award!

keep in mind when they bust houses, they exaggerate it so it looks better for headlines..

for example if they bust a grow op, they take the entire plant and dirt, WET and plop it on the scale so they can say 100 pounds of marijuana found in a grow-op.... when in reality it was 100 pounds... but only maybe 3-4 pounds of actual dried weed... and when they give the dollar ammount.. they take the 100 pounds , and do 100 x 16 x 28 x 10 = 448,000 dollars worth of weed... when in reality it would be 3 x 1700 = 5100 worth of weed... they don't use the actual bulk street price.. the price they use is if all that meth was sold for 20 bucks a point... instead of like 15 grand a keg

again they just assume that so they can put it in the headlines... if they find a grow op in a house... they see since what date you started renting, and calculate that you started from the first day you moved in....

I'm amazed there isn't more about it on the web. There were only a few articles saying what he had. 4-5# of meth worth 32K wholesale but the amount of chemicals he had on hand was what worried everyone. they thought the house may blow up and they think they'll have to tear it down and clean the site up from chemical spills. the part that sucks is the landlord/owner of the house is going to get stuck with a clean up bill that may exceed 100K.
