So my over and under exposed pics didn't make you change your mind? It really i s a great camera. Every once in a while I get the settings just right and fire off a pic that blows me away. Once I can do that all the time, I'll be all set.

Yeah, she was told that it's next to impossible for her to have children. Not 100% impossible, but very close to it.

At first, we were careful anyway... but now, well... we've been happy for so long and are at the point where we decided, if it happens... great. But it likely won't. But we won't try to prevent it since it has such a very narrow chance anyway. Hell, we were even thinking that very likely we'd just have to adopt one day, and we were fine with that.

But now... now she's pregnant and doing great. It's a one in a million shot and we won the odds. :thumbsup

You are just being old fashion...kids don't care or know if mommy and daddy were married but if the break-up occurs without that little piece of paper, the kid is perceived as a bastard. From the pix she looks radiant and I hope they stay together.

Personally, I would tie the knot looking out for our child?s best interest, and not waiting for a wedding that I could wear a size six or whatever and inviting all of friends?.

To me, all pregnant women are beautiful. A special glow takes over, and I can see it in your girlfriend's eyes. I like her short hair, beautiful skin, and a really attractive nose. What a wonderful surprise to find that the two of you can be parents naturally.

Who told her that? Why is it next to impossible for her to get pregnant? What's the medical reason her Doctor must have told her? Unless something very major is wrong, Doctor's can't tell you by feeling your tummy how easy or difficult it is for you to get pregnant.

Actually, there is very real medical reasons... and I happen to of been there to hear it from the doctor.
I'm sure your medical degree tells you differently, being that you know everything and all... but the fact of the matter is, that just because you are so negative and untrusting and skeptical of everything... that doesn't mean that everything you hear is always going to be a lie.

You don't have to be married to give the baby a name - my kids got their fathers last name as theirs and we are not married.

indeed, that was a very difficult year for me... she and I were a world apart. It's a long story, I've shared it with friends. I am definitely the happiest I've ever been now though. I have a great future to look forward to.
