so i've been working on my own galleries for my own pics/personal site, i've made my first one...but this thread makes me think that maybe i'm a little too optimistic about getting it out there - what's my first line of attack? :helpme

I was using Hypersnap DX before but something SP2 for windows xp fecked something up and I've trying to figure out what, instead of capturing just the video it was capturing the whole desktop, even though I had change the settings to capture just the video alone, still works in PowerDvd ok but I wanted something quick where I could load into and take instant frameshots!
If you want to use Hypersnap you first have to:
Right click your desktop ->properties->settings->advanced->toubleshoot-> set Hardware accelation to "None".

I Hypersnap click the button "Capture Window" or Ctrl+Shift+W

But frameshots works fine too!

Yep Toni, I tested the water with them a bit, built 2 freesites, submitted too a total of 18 sites and have made $180 so far :)

I'm not going to mention the name of the company nor give out any details as they are still in a trial phase and I respect their right to privacy until they go public, which they will soon. They are still testing different billing models to find what criteria suits surfers the most, the reason I've choosen to work with them as due to the fact I have a good working relationship with some of the staff!

Here is a tip from the nubiles crew... when naming your galleries don't using sequential numbering, but instead use random letters or skip numbers in the sequence so they cannot just type in the next number and get the next gallery. Set up a 404 redirect in your htaccess and send them to your own MGP or hub. It's great feeder traffic!

Another wee update, had to iron out some server porbs but all is good to go now!! so I'll start submitting galleries and hopefully will be posting screen shots of stats soon :)
