someone must have an answer.

employees who are producers are exempt from having to maintain records themselves, this could be an important point.

if you work for Vivid you don't have to keep the records. Vivid does.

An affiliate is not an employee. An employee has a contract of employment.

If you are not eligible for workmen's comp, overtime pay, vacations, holidays, pension, unemployment . . . you are not an employee.

If you get a 1099 as opposed to a W-2 form, you are not an employee
