WASHINGTON -- Computer users trying to get purported illegal copies of the final "Star Wars" movie have been creating massive congestion on the Internet.

Downloads of "Episode III - Revenge of the Sith," have been taking more than 40 hours -- even over high-speed connections.

The lengthy wait means there is no way of immediately knowing if the movie is actually circulating or what the copies look like.

The head of the Motion Picture Association of America said the reports that the film is available for free online are prime examples of how "theft dims the magic of movies for everyone."
