I love it.. .hahahaha! The only way Detroit can win is they play honest defense. hahahaha! Dude, you are one of the same dudes that said the Lakers would KILL Detroit last year, yet it was all but a sweep in the other direction. Now you say the Lakers suck last year, yet they had a great season record as well as made it all the way to the NBA finals, favored to win by a landslide.

But yeah, whatever, Pistons are only good because they play dishonest defense. haha!

Again, I'll bet ya $1000.00 that Detroit wins the series.

If you are so sure it will be an easy bet for ya. Come on... take my money..

:1orglaugh

TDF 05-21-2005 01:15 PM

pistons in 6

Vitasoy 05-21-2005 01:47 PM

Miami will come out on top.

mlove 05-21-2005 01:50 PM

I'm gonna say... Detroit in 5.

I live a few towns away from the palace.. maybe i can make it to a game.

sorry pal, if you feel upset about some true facts about the Pistons, im
not your gambling partner. just here for the game, can't wait for the balls rollin.

Fact are that Detroit rarely is in foul trouble or sending the other team to the free throw line. Go do a search on there foul percentages... one of the lowest, if not the lowest in the league. If Detroit played dirty, dishonest ball it would show in those stats. Wrong again my friend. :)

too bad, ain't no stat on foul trouble % vs. Shaq
may the best team wins!

buck naked 05-21-2005 03:22 PM

Hacking Shaq is just smart basketball. It's not dirty. If Shaq learned to shoot freethrows, he wouldn't get fouled so much.

I'm way tired of hearing him & his fans bitch about Hack-a-Shaq. Master the fundamentals of the game, including freethrows, and you won't have that problem.

Case closed.

GoodStuff 05-21-2005 03:44 PM

Gotta love haq-a-shaq...

Pistons usually have Billups (.898) and Hamilton (.858) and Prince (.807) with the ball late in the game. Come on foul us.

One of the big reasons the Pistons win so much. Especially in tight games.

ChewbaCreative 05-21-2005 04:24 PM

detroit wins if they can make the same as they did with lakers last NBA final
and i think they can do it!
Detroit 4-2

moneyman3203 05-22-2005 01:09 AM

Listen, i know NBA basketball like the back of my hand. First off, dont let this Shaq "thigh contusion" fool you. It didnt hasnt fooled me one bit, and it hasnt fooled Larry Brown and the Pistons. Please, thigh contusion for bout a month? gtfo. You know what i learned about Shaq this year since the move to Miami, i dont even think this guy cares as much as he did in LA when he won the first 3 championships, Shaq missed 2 playoff games his first 2 in his CAREER, please he could of played we all know this. Even if shaq is healthy, WRITE THIS DOWN he will only have 1-2 30 pt games this series IF THAT...Wade will be stopped, no 30 pt games this series buddy, not agaisnt the Pistons D, maybe 1, thats MAYBE 1, If you know anything about the NBA you would be smart and take the Pistons. I love how all these shaq lovers "the heat are gonna win with shaq" no there not... lol

Shooting_Manic 05-23-2005 07:14 PM

Game one, end of the third period.

Pistons taking Miami to school. Wade a non-factor, Oneal a non-factor.

Doing this in Miami also.

Game aint over of course, but a very telling first three periods

reynold 05-23-2005 08:46 PM

Since the Pacers was not able to make it, I think I would just go for O'Niel and his team.

:smokin

do you even watch basketball? detroit does not have to and will not double team shaq. wallace, wallace, campbell, mcdyess... have you ever seen elden campbell? he is nearly the size of shaq. the pistons will take every game of this series if they stay focused and don't get over confident. the pacers were a MUCH better matchup for the pistons, and they should have swept them, except they lost their focus. no one can take detroit in 7 games, just not going to happen.

GoodStuff 05-24-2005 07:40 AM

Where's loverboy now?

RRACY 05-24-2005 01:48 PM

I heard a rumor that Detroit whooped Miami's ass last night. :1orglaugh If the Pistons take two in Miami their chances go way down for advancing. :pimp

Miami better when the next game or they're out

axelcat 05-24-2005 03:37 PM

Im so happy shaq lost

topbizucksMark 05-24-2005 03:51 PM

I have been big on the Heat since the start of the playoffs, but last night was disheartening. Wade looked like a JV player in a varsity game. Detroit is just way to cool under pressure, Billups and Hamilton will lead the Pistons to a 4-2 series win. :(

RRACY 05-24-2005 04:23 PM

Detroit owes it all to Joe D. for putting that team together and getting Larry
Brown.

Absolutely. Props to Joe D. As GM, he's been where his on-court rivals MJ and Bird haven't.

reynold 05-24-2005 07:57 PM

Game one will show you how invulnerable detroit is...

Hire a good coach? Not show up and let someone else play? Or, let Shaq play again?

40 pts. in Game 2

if Wade gets into the rythm, Miami is on fire and unstoppble :2 cents:
Series now even, still anyone's game

They barely beat Detroit last game. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

AVPS Zack 05-27-2005 11:03 AM

Detroit in 6 or 7. Then a boring NBA final of Detroit vs San Antonio w/San Antonio in 6.

Wade was great in game 2 and Detroit was still in it at the end. Wade won't get off like that three more times against Detroits defense. I'd be worried if I was Miami.

that's why i like this game, ball is round, anything is still possible
and unpredictable :winkwink:

If Brown decides to put a double team on Wade, Detriot's defense will
suffer and crumble. Someone is goibd to be free for a jumper or a slam.
