Have to love stupid domestic injuries
So, my new nifty food processer arrived today and so did my new all in one slow cooker/steamer/rice cooker thing. I decide to use them and make some fresh vegetable soup and rice for diner tonight. I am all careful because the blades are sharp and the steam hot and am mildly worried about injuring myself. Do I ? No. Instead when I am heating up the pot to start the carrots, leeks and mushrooms cooking before I add the other veggies and stock I go to spray the bottom with low fat cooking spray (like Pam), push down on the pump and spray myself directly in the eye with fake oil spray. I had it turned aroud the wrong way. I flushed my eye out and stuff but burned like a bitch for a good while.
I hope the soup is worth it. Anyone else ever injur themselves in a really stupid domestic way? |

LOL!! I am the queen of household injuries... Just last night I slashed my finger open on the edge of a bottle of olive oil.
