Web Development Training

Hey there GFY'ers! I have a question and seek advise. Where should I go to get training on Web Site Development? Learn to create stunning web sites to modifying scripts. I was told 'ITT Tech' but had hoped that you guys would have some other suggestions.

Thanks in advance!

I have thought about that but I am more of a visual learner. I wish they had a store that software though a video series. What software do most people use? Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Flash?

Dreamweaver + Photoshop are the required tools. Then you need something for the programming (can be done in DW but it's not great). I use Visual Studio 2003 as I'm an ASP.NET guy.

There's a good book published by macromedia which works you through a single web application project (it simultaneously works in php, asp or cold fusion so u can pick what language u want to use). For elementary stuff the H.O.T. (Hands on Training) books for DW and PS are very good.

1) buy books, buy them used (also check torrent sites for free downloads in .pdf)
2) use the web, the are plenty of sites that have great tutorials.
if video is your thing, try lynda.com (also available at most torrent sites)

save the "ITT school" money for a real degree or certifications.
Programming skills are developed by putting hours in front of your machine.
