    What's a good use for old 100 MB 'zip' disks

    I got 8 of them. Found 'em in an old notebook bag in the corner of my office here. Hate to just throw them away....

              they're useless for data as far as my needs go... I have a stack... (literally.... about 20) of 250 GB HDs, removeable, Firewire, at my disposal..... these zips are like floppys at this point.

              Plus, it's not like I could put something on it and send it to someone.... who the fuck still has a zip drive in this world....

                                                                                                                              i'd say use them as coasters too. I'd have them dipped and dried in some sort of polymer though. they'll last longer and look cool as shit. expecially in about 10 years when no one knows what they are and urban outfitters starts selling them for 35 bucks a dozen.

Stopped using them after one crashed on me and I lost a file that I had worked on and used for about a year or more. Luckily I had a backup, but that was about a month old. Sucked ass.
