Thinking about offering bigger images to clients, so would like to know what sizes are best for you.

1024 x 768

1200 x 900

1365 x 1024

I like the bigger image sizes.. gives me more options.. and I just batch process them to whatever smaller size I want..

I've wondered about the thinking behind the idea of aiming at the lowest common denominator.

Trying to sell to a guy on a dial up connection, with an 800 screen and probably an IBM 365.

Or trying to sell to a guy with a broad band connection, a 1600 screen and the latest in hardware.

Which one do you think is more likely to spend money on porn and by catering to one do you put the other one off?

For my members we go 800x600 but when I frame my shot its all model no waste. Bigger than that its a pain in the ass to look at

I like images bigger so that my viewers can get a more real life sized view. Although I will take the high resolution images and "save for web" in photoshop.

Other then those big ones the average size is about 900 wide for my site.
