my poop is always brown, firm and flows out of me easily...my pee is almost always clear and/or light yellow and never smells...i can run 1 mile pretty easily (smoking hurts me there), and I work out every day lifting weights and riding a bike or skateboard

when I was 18 people said my habits will catch up to me when I am 25, when I was 25 peoploe said it will catch up when I am 30, now that I am 30 they say it will catch up to me when I am 40

guess we will all see

side note: my grandfather (mom's side) and my grandmother (dad's side) ate terrible compared to todays standards, they put 1 stick of butter in everything they ate, they added sugar to everything, they ate like shit according to anyone average person half their age...my grandfather is in perfect health (just talked to him today), and my grandmother lived to 89

the fact that you workout every day is something that definitely helps you. also, some people have great genetics and aren't as easily effected by bad nutrition as others are... however, if you think that *just* because your relatives have lived long and ate shitty makes you exempt of health problems in the future, then you're wrong.

just because you haven't experienced any negative health effects now, and your relatives living long, is no justification for eating the way you do. now i don't think you're stupid enough to believe that the way you eat is healthy - you know you could significantly improve your nutritional habbits... and i suggest you do it - because there might come a time when you're 60 years old sitting in a hospital bed after experiencing a heart attack and your children / grandchildren are by your side - you will regret it then, having neglected proper nutrition.

--- if not a heart attack, then cancer - because improper diet / unhealthy lifestyles = number 1 reason for cancer. think about it.

I usually only order the fires. They make the best.

Two things to add

1. Why would anyone want to eat McDonalds at all, let alone everyday. It tastes like the crap it is.

2. I have never had two peices of meat that taste exactly the same. If McDonalds burgers are 100% beef like they claim why doesnt the meat ever taste different. If you take it out of the bun it tatses the same every time. Where ever you are in the world, it tastes the same. Do Mcdonalds know how to breed thousands and thousands of animals that all taste the same?

I grew up on a farm. Two cows fed on the same feed, given the same exersise, the same age, will taste completely different. Why does Mcdonalds beef tatse exactly the same every time?

Guess what people:

Consuming too much water can kill you.

Too much Oxygen can kill you.

Lack of common sense also kills people.

I'm worried about some of you.

Being someone who likes the taste of McDonalds... all this "SuperSize Me is so great" irritates me.

I mean, the film basically saying "if you eat mcdonalds every day you will get fat"....... why did they need to make a film about that? It's not exactly a revelation. I always knew that and didn't need a over hyped and statistically warped film to tell me.

Read the book "Fast Food Nation"

when it comes to fast food, you'll never eat anything but In-N-Out burger again!!!!

It's because of the hype it got, someone eating McD's for 30 days, then all the moms have something to moan about over their morning coffee... Ooooh did you watch that program yada yada, McD's is bad for you.

NO SHIT. It's common-sense that if you eat ANY food, without working it off, you'll see negative side-effects [I can't speak for vegetarians, or vegans] The obesity issue is due to everyone eating until their stomach explodes, then not working it off. They go home, watch T.V. Is it really that much of a hassle to get on a bike for 20 minutes a day?

I'm a lazy whore, but even I manage to get my exercise in daily. God -_-''

it isn't only mcdonalds / fast food that is really bad for you, but it's most of the shit found in grocery stores as well. it all comes down to calories and macronutrients. Protein, Carbohydrates, Fats. Those three are the primary aspects of nutrition to concern yourself with when determining if a particular food item is healthy or unhealthy...

have you EVER taken a look at the god damn mcdonalds nutrition fact sheet? if you haven't, i suggest you do, right fucking now. Their chicken selects are 1,200 calories with like 80-90g of fucking FAT!!!! Their salads contain something like 30g of fat. How the FUCK is this possible in a god damn SALAD is beyond me...

but if you think for one second, that habitually consuming this amount of fat and the amount of bad (simple) carbohydrates isn't hurting your body - then you need a serious reality check. do yourself a favor and tally up how many calories you consume daily and seperate them by protein / carbs / fats. assuming you're 210 5'10 or so, that number ideally would be around 2,100 calories with approx 50% carbs (COMPLEX CARBS, the good carbs that are found in most healthy natural foods), 35% protein, and 15% fat - (There are 4 calories per every 1g of carb and protein, and 9 calories per every 1g of fat, so you do the math). -- also, depending on how active you are, these numbers will change (particularly the carbs since they provide energy).

After doing that, if you find that you're consuming a shitload of fat (which you probably are if you're eating mcdonalds, because most of their menu items = 40 to 70g of SATURATED fat) then you are hurting your body, regardless of what your doc says. it is proven that diets high in fat and simple carbs are the #1 reasons for many of the health issues america faces today.

lot's of truth here.

the fact is you "kids" mostly will not have health problems eating the typical american fast food diet in your 20's and 30's.

but wait until you are in your 40's and 50's if you keep it up.

i got off the high fat, high carb diet years ago and i am healthier than i have ever been.

good eating habits need to become a lifestyle for longevity and general good health, and this requires eating smart.

read up on atkins or similar for an overview. and open the obituary page in your newspaper and see how young people are dying these days.
