I was wondering where all my bandwith vanished .... Server load was up at 2.5 and higher and I had no clue where it was coming from.

I finally found the reason. Somebody has used a security leak inside a phpBB board to install a software on my server called BitTorrent-4.0.1. With this little piece of shit they uploaded ripped DVDs and movies and were able to access them thru their homepage at http://62.212.84.216/gay-torrents/

Wasnt necessarily the people that own that site. Could have just been one of its users that hacked your shit so they had somewhere fast to seed from.

Come on .. the BT world need fast seeders .. don't hold back .. support them !!

Though you must have a pretty big security leak .. not only they must been able to upload the program .. but been able to execute it too ..

I guess they are looking for scripts that allow to upload files and I did not have the latest patch as I kind of neglect my shemale sites .... maybe I should just sell the domains that I am not able to serve all the time to avoid such problems. Actually the abuse of bandthwith was not so bad but the pressure on the server load was really heavy.
