Monkey have to be paid?

I did services to michael (B-Eazy), and he couldn't pay for me.
I did 5 mascots in a logo [all vectors] the logo and the
page he asked for, with no charge about using flash to increase the visual effects. All this stuff for U$290

He said I did crap.

After many tryes to receive the money, he said he will not pay and I can't do anything.
He said I'm a monkey, cause I'm in Brazil.
He did that in his sig kinda "nojoke media is monkeys trying to make a dollar".

Honestly I talked a lot to him, he's a good guy, but did all this shit.
Take care designers. I suggest money upfront.
And I want to make people sure that this yankee really need monkeys to the the stuff he can't ...
