Ok, went to services they were GREAT!

Sang and danced to the 'band', the saxaphone dude rocked! Fun songs and introspective songs. Half english half hebrew

Best part was when the Rabbi said, 'yea it's nice you come to Shabbas, but who are you? do you even know?'

and then he said: 'there is something called 'being' and 'doing'. A human - being. Or a human -doing.

And if you always 'do, do', then that is what your life is like 'do, do' i.e. shit. (LOL, I swear the rabbi said this. ) So try on just 'being' - and living like that for awhile and feel the peace.

It really was great, the hippest temple in LA I think. And the dinner... as usual, the buffet was YUM and the dessert tables were YUMMIER!


I'm going to try on 'being' for awhile see how long it lasts LOL ! :thumbsup

Actually, Judaism isn't as uptight and conservative when it comes to things like porn. The Talmud encourages procreation and foreplay as well as any type of sex as long as you spunk in the girl.

I'm a Yom Kippur baby... My mother went in to labour as my father was going to shool on Kol Nidre and I popped out at 5.30 am Yom Kippur morning.

I came from an authodox, kosher home and can even make great boiled and fried gefilte fish and a mean chopped liver but these days I'm totally unauthodox.. I lost interest when my mother died in 98, I saw a lot that made me realise why there is anti semetism, even though when my father died back in 1976 I did the whole 11 months of twice a day and even then still went every Sat morning.. I found it too much and so have stopped going completely...

I have one question that I must ask the Jewish girls here... Do you swallow these days ? In the 70's a pal came over from NY to London with a T shirt saying "Jewish Girls Don't Swallow." As I'd given them up for shiksa's a few years before I'd forgotten.. Do Jewish girls swallow today..
