Wish my dog good luck.

My dog Sybil is 13 now and she's had a growth on her back leg for a few months but the vets wouldn't operate on her because they said she was too old and it would probably kill her.

Well the poor old girl is on her last legs now and she on her way to the vets to have the operation since there is nothing left to lose and she would have to be put own anyway.

I'm gutted

Fuck, that sucks. My cat is about 10 years old now, and she stopped pissing in her litter-box... she still craps in it, but she pisses all over the house, I'm going to have to get her put down if it keeps up, it's really starting to smell in this place...

Don't count the old girl down. She may surprise you. She's had the will to live this long. I have a cat that's over 18 years old. Twice in the last 6 years, I've been told she had a slim chance of living through a health problem at that time. Both times, she pulled through to the surprise of several vets.

I'm thinking only positive thoughts for you and yours. Dogs are not like family, they ARE family.

I am a big animal lover, I have 2 cats (Ricky & Lucy) and 3 dogs (Heidi Chewy & Zena) , We are all wishing good things for you and Sybil.

I had a very close call a few nights ago. Lucy slipped out of the back door while I was taking the garbage out. One of my dogs bit her back leg and put a big hole in it. I heard comotion outside and made it to her rescue in the nick of time. All 3 dogs had her cornered and she was FREAKIN! That was her first time out of the house. I bet she never does that again. I told her not tease the dogs thru the windows all the time. Well they got her back. She's got 8 more left.

again, hope the best for you and Sybil,
Sincerely,
BV

I watched my cat die in front of me just over a year ago.
18 and a half years she was with me. From the time I was 7 years old until the time I was 26. After that long, they tend to become more than just pets.
Trust me, if you have an option of watching your animals die, or having them put to sleep or die while under general anisthetic, you'd choose the latter.

I'm still haunted by the images of her last 5 minutes of struggle.

I hope you get your baby back alive and kicking, but if not, try to get some solice out of the fact that it would have been comfortable for her.

Either way, let us know,

Jason.
