I remember seeing the moog synthesizer being shown at an expo when I was a kid.

The first "synth" album I purchased was "Switched On Bach" (I'm sure a few of you heard it):

I also marveled at Isao Tomita's synth compositions of famous Debussy classical works, titled "Snowflakes Are Dancing":

What an amazing inventor...

RIP Bob Moog

Funny I just saw Asia with my buddy Geoff Downes
He had one of the very first Moog's he told me- and he also is one hell of keyboardist having played with ELP and Yes, not too mention Geoff is a walking trivia question

He is part of music history for being one half of the supergroup/ one hit wonder the Buggles

Anyone know why?

Bernie Worrell palyes Moog's like no one's business
long live P Funk!

I am sure many would never know that former band mate of Buggles Trevor horn went on to be one of the most successful music producers of the 1980's

That is correct and all of his work from Art of Noise- to Frankie Goes To Hollywood and ABC were some of the greatest albums produced in the 80's
I knew you would be hip Jimbo!

How is the new gig homie?
