All programs have cheaters but how come 50% of 12clicks affiliates are cheaters?

I never seen one guy getting "cheated" that much in all my years online.
Just on this board alone there have to be at least 200 people who "cheated" him. And outside at least another 5000.
I bet the money they didnt pay to the "cheaters" can buy one a nice Ferrari or 3.
So why is it 12clicks attracts all these *cough cough* scammers and thieves and cheaters?

PPC sponsors attract the most cheaters and not so many companies are so public about the number of cheaters out there.

Isnt it time to change your business model if youre getting that much cheaters or is it even more profitable to get cheaters because you can keep their traffic and not pay them out?

He is very public, you got a point there indeed. But then again he calls everybody a cheater who isnt on his side. Some of the people he has called a cheater is just pure nonsense.

Is there really that many PPC sponsors? I can't really think of many offhand to be honest other than Ron's and AmateurMoney (Lens').

I have never seen anybody post that they actually made money on 12clicks program and were happy about it.

Just an observation.

I made 100-200$ per mouths and was happy about the program, until he "forgot" to send my checks.
Never got a mail or anything else. Just no more checks.

WG, I remember that in the old tranza thread that he posted 1 week ago, YOU also wrote that YOU had some problems with MojoSearch....

I assume they were resolved already since now you seem to be defending him...

No idea. I was a "cheater" too, just no idea where or how. However, it turned out for the best. Having to use a new sponsor ended up being over 10 times more profitable and has been ever since. If I were to give 12clicks benefit of the doubt in this situation, you should use the term "cheater" loosely. It could be a completely honest mistake overlooking a strict, changing TOS.

I'm not defending 12clicks here, just pointing out a few things. I guess you can say the Mojosearch issue was dropped.

Ironically I fell into the same situation. Moving from PPC to PPS was the best move I ever did and it was kind of forced on me like this. I was rather naive back then and only wanted to work on a PPC basis.

For real? give me a couple. I haven't used a per click sponsor for years...I still miss Silvercash's 11 cents per click back in the day. If that shit was out now, I'd be raping them (without cheating of course).

Gotta love the pay per signup programs disguised as pay per click with such secretive terms as "UP TO $1 per click".

because children with your limited comprehension imagine that a handful of loud cheaters on a chatboard equals 50% of my business.
The number of cheaters who we've smacked down and now fly strait is a small number, the number of cheaters who I've smacked down and they've gone on to disappear (leaving their posts behind) is bigger but still small.
The number of guys who we *might* have made a mistake with in the early days (like wiredguy) can be counted on half a hand.

the number of jealous haters who hate me being succesful and always right is large. (like franck)

He sure seems to have his fair share of drama on GFY that is for sure.. makes you wonder sometimes when so many guys post on here about his closing their accounts and him keeping the money.

I always love the defense these programs use in not proving that the guy was actually cheating, by claiming "he will then know how we caught him". Umm guess what if the guy was a cheat then I'm pretty sure he knows how he was cheating.

Then again, anyone who promotes the kind of spyware that 12clicks operates doesn't deserve to get paid anyway.

I started following some of 12Clicks threads a couple of weeks back. While most of the 'characters' on this board use personas that are likely much different then their off-net personalities, I would be willing to bet that the 12Clicks board character is very similar to his 'real' personality. And his particular personality is quite interesting indeed.

So, what's my point you may ask? First, my 'off-net' personality has me working in the field of Mental Health as a Research Scientist. (And yes, the word 'scientist" is actually in my title). So, any comments back regarding my 'day job' or references to my chronological age, will slide off me like teflon. And no, I have never been one of your affiliates. My experimentation in this industry has only recently begun.

But I digress. My point was that this 12clicks character has a number of interesting personality traits. And I for one would be very reluctant to put much trust in this fella. But before you all say, well that's all pie in the sky psychological babble, I would instead point you in the direction of the company he keeps. I have looked at his various programs, and a very large number of his advertisers seem to be flogging distructive little goodies, which I will fondly refer to as VERY stubborn and destructive adware carriers. So, I am willing to go out on a limb and say, anyone that demonstrates such a low regard for the virtual destruction of other's personal property would likely also not hold the payment of his affiliates as a top priority.

But, to be completely honest, I just don't find him to be a very likable character.

welcome rabble.

I bumped this thead just so the people actually working in this business could read your bullshit during the day.

instead of spending your time looking at what ads I run (the exact same ads everyone else in my business runs which are 100% legal)
I'd spend my time looking at my detractors and understanding who they are.
Then, if you're half as bright as you pretend to be, you'll understand why there are very few companies who've been around as long as mine has.
But hell, you're one of those high paid scientist fellers, I'm sure you'll come to a different conclusion than the right one.
