As a designer I personally hate most filters (they're for noobs that just mess around with shit until they stumble upon something that looks cool). But that's just me and I'm probably not the norm.

In my experience the only thing that makes a great designer is great vision. Whether you use a filter or do stuff by hand all that really makes a true difference is the vision of the creative the designer has in his/her head to start. Anyone can learn design techniques but seeing something in your mind's eye that is stunning and captivating is where it all begins and ends.

That said, there are alot of designers in the adult space who have great vision but I have yet to see any group of design people that compare to the people that do computer games. Those are some of the most enigmatic and incredible visual visionaries out there. IMHO.

Not to be negative but I dont get the concept of a blonde white woman and the chinese( or japanese or whatever ) symbol and also the wood texture on the symbol. Also the horizonal striping of the backgorund with the mostly veticle string of the wood texture on the symbol is kind of irritating to my eyes.

Perhaps an asian chick and some bamboo texturing on the symbol if you want to still go the wood route

I was just playing randomly man... the symbol is the Japanese symbol for love and I'm pretty sure "lust" would have been more appropos if I had it.

Plus you have to mix the Japanese symbols with white women these days... don't you guys watch Lost??? =]
