Yes, I have all 3 barrels and shoot them regularly. I bought a 229 in .40 then bought a .357SIG barrel from RGuns. Later, I ordered a 9mm barrel from Barsto. If you order from Barsto you must tell them the barrel is for conversion from .40.

whatever you end of getting, shoulder, pouch, belt or calf holster, make sure its top quality. You definetely dont want to be stuck with something that is uncomfortable, or doesnt work in order to save a few bucks. Whatever you do, plan on spending time on the range, do a good amount of shots for the first months, and then at the very least, once a month every month, practice at point blank distances as well as from some range, and practice both precision, swiftness and instictive shooting, instictive is the one you'll want to practice the most.
