What type of webcam software should I be using for a personal webcam live stream on the net?

I know of WebCamXP and a few other ones

I'd like to be able to stream from a simple QuickCam or from a VideoCam send it to a server to encode and hne from there...stream it smoothly - So far all i've been able to do is set it up so it uploads from the cam computer into the ftp server and then process it, but then there is a 3-4 sec delay

I'd like to have it stream smoothly. My connection for upload is only 128k, so there'd be a problem if I was to stream from the house.

Please advise me of any solutions you may have

Hi,

We can offer this with our product WebVideo. It is used for live-time streaming from a webcam and will work with your 128kbps connection (but I would recommend getting better one).

We may also have integrated billing if needed. Please contact me

We have a little more comprehensive webcam software becoming available if you're interested....

Its flash based versus java which is considered to be a little older. We even get you off on the right foot with a starter flashcom server

packages start at 1995 depending on what you're looking for....

Or if you're looking for something a lot more simple...we could extract just the webcam part out of the software and install it on your site for 1k
