SEO Guys >> Theoretical Question...

My friend asked me this question. Anyone have any input on this?

Suppose you have 1,000 PR1 domains that get visited and spidered daily by SE's. How will the PR of a site be affected if those 999 link to it?

the published algo is:

PR(A) = (1-d) + d(PR(t1)/C(t1) + ... + PR(tn)/C(tn))

t1 is the page
C is the number of outbound links
d is the 'damping factor' (0.85)

of course this could be completly obsolete

SE's also use the IP class, if I'm not mistaken, and prefer inbound links to be from other IP's. If you had them hosted all over the place then you could have quite a powerful network.

An excellent reason to use Got Web Host - custom solutions of up to 33 Class C subnets available

jeez man, don't give out secrets like that... it took me 2 years to find about it, and then another 6 months of begging to get my own PriorityID....

It's an interesting question, but I don't think anyone has the authority to say if it works or not unless they've tried it. The truth is very few people actually know the inner workings of the big SEs.
