Mine, too. Most annoying. And, I've told all of them to stop it, as I simply delete those messages.

It's like trying to get off one of those mailing lists. Impossible!

I've got a friend that seems to think its perfectly normal to forward ten wmv, jpg, or other bs emails to the same 20 people every freaking day. I hope he never sends me anything important since I dont even bother to look at the emails any more...

My family does the exact same thing. It's been going on since 1999. And 95% of them have AOL addresses. Chain letters, the Neiman Marcus cookies, virtual hugs, that stupid snowball shit, the same pictures that have been circulating since the beginning of the net, etc., etc.

None of them use bcc: (of course) so I know they can see who it's already been sent to. Doesn't matter... they automatically forward almost every piece of email they get to every single person in their address book. Oh- and they all get viruses at random times and infect each other, as well.

This is how I stopped it: Every time one of them sends me a useless forward (i.e., something other than family news, pics, etc) I send them back a picture of goatse. It took them a few weeks to catch on, but now that I have the fear installed in them, they will actually put - "Holly- this is important! Please don't send the picture of that man!" in the subject line if they legitimately need to email me.

Lol I hate that. That's all my mom and her family do. My dad's family would probably do the same, but they are too hick to have the internet, lol.

I HATE ALL THOSE FORWARDS, lol. I tried that email saying not to forward me anything, but I think I just get more now. Sometimes I think about adding them to the spam filter, lol.
