              Hell they bought Netscape when it was a decent browser.
              Then AOL got a hold of it and look at the piece of shit it
              is now...

                  AOL buying RedHat would probably mean a slow lingering death for RedHat but would probably not have any lasting impact on the Linux community. There are several alternative distributions that are in my opinion superior to RedHat.
