Ok, I just signed up, loaded them $100, and my account says 95.00.
They took $5 as a set-up fee? Is this a monthy fee, or just a one time thing? Is there any other hidden charges? What's Visa Electron for? Anyone use that? Can people with PayPal accounts send money to people with Epassporte account? Whats the difference between a personal, commercial corporate and epPurchace account? |

Pros:
The reason I use epassporte is because everyone asks for it now. Whenever I want to buy traffic/advertising, design, etc... people are asking to be paid by epassporte. It has become the industry standard for sending payments for services. I've been using it for almost a year now, and never had any problems. Cons: I've heard people have had less than amazing experiences from the customer service staff, but I've never experienced anything bad from them myself.

The only downside is the account has tons of max levels set very low. you can only load x a day. You can only transfer out x a day. If you submit a gallery a week and make any sales you will quickly hit max level on something. So you have to spend hours with their service explaining you need a raise. they give these out but only after 15 phone calls and an ounce of blood. Good luck with it.

Are you talking about using epassporte as a shopping cart like Paypal..where they purchase something on your website and then pay you just like Paypal?
If so, it won't work that way. Epassporte is basically just a money transfer system. If I have $10 in Paypal and want to pay someone $30...Paypal will use my available funds of $10 and charge $20 to my credit card. With ePassporte I would have to load the funds into my account with my credit card, and then transfer the money to the person. There is no shopping cart interface. You are only allowed to accept 5 transfers per day and no more than $500. Also you can only withdraw via the Electron card $320 per day (at least that is what my levels are set as). |
