As a program owner you would know that 100 joins a day affiliates are the exception to the rule. Rui's objection was mainly to how effortless the "one person" made it sound and that 2 mill a year wasn't anything to brag about... when it was kind of as banal a statement as "only 2 mill a year? - pffft one person can do that!" Big programs don't generally join in and shit on smaller programs.. I mean where is the (for eg) TCG rep in here dressing meta down because they're doing 1000 a day or whatever? It doesn't really happen. They're too busy making cash to be pissing on boards.
And you know what? if meta is doing it, it is brag-worthy. I don't like bragging but you'd have to respect that, even from "just" hooking a couple of whales.. I mean, no disrespect to Quiet intended here, I really like him, he's probably one of the only guys here i'd actually want to share a drink with, but half of GFY treats him as a god because he pulled in 3M on his sites. And you know what? deservedly so... 200 joins a day should eventually be pulling in a vaguely similar amount for a program depending on how profitably you run things, retention etc, but most people aren't going to split hairs after the mill mark.
A lot of 1-5 site programs aren't doing anything near 200.
But i get your point now, I thought you were playing the whole "player by inference" thing. The reason is that really meta wasn't "bragging" he was lying/defending/whatever after attack.
Theres a difference between just going on about how many joins you pull in and publishing how many joins you pull in to show the public you're a viable business and it's not the "beginning of the end". Thats a direct defense/rebuttal. So thats why I thought you were pissing on the monetary amount. Your actual words were "200 joins a day is nothing to brag about", and I still disagree with that statement. They might be a bragging cocksucker depending on they way they say it but i'd have respect for the achievement.Comment

tried to edit to add, no disrespect to quiet for talking about his situation and using him as a comparison, was trying to show that if quiet is rightly lauded for a similar amount then it is something to brag about... it doesn't just change because the person is different. Frankly anyone that runs successful paysites gets my respect.
