wil76 bro, clickcash doesnt usea 3rd part processor, they use their own merc.account and till recently (maybe still) they didnt even ask for CV2. Their scrubbing ratio is lower than any 3rd part processor. So unless you are reffering this time to another program, you can't really tell :-)

Before you laugh and say there is no such thing as surfer paranoia, I've got a couple of friends who have said they aren't going to be joining any new porn sites for awhile because of fear of their name being found out and getting back to their wives. They said they would wait to see if Bush & company get smacked back down or if the right wing gets even more powerful. I'm not at all saying this is a BIG factor now. It isn't. What I am saying is that it's something we need to be aware of. No matter how much we want to dismiss the ability to "frighten" people, the religous right is growing in it's power and abilities to do just that. Sure..the "chronic masterbators" are always going to sign up. Those that still are leary of the net and especially identity theft/loss of privacy are now being given more reasons to be cautious. |
i guess it just becomes over rated and over saturated. or maybe.. peole are busy trying things (what they've learned in such adult sites) out for themselves. :winkwink:

Thats funny, I am sure the govt wont look back a couple months or even years. Your friends have some incredible logic there. If the govt starts arresting webmasters and collecting the info on the people who joined their sites and arresting the members, the govt is certainly only going to arrest the people or expose who signed up in the last few days. No way the govt would look back to see who signed up 6 months ago or a year ago :1orglaugh the govt is not even arresting webmasters yet muchless going after their members or trying to expose them. Unless it is a kiddy porn site they are signing up to. |
get over the summer slowdown.

non biased poll for last week's stats....
https://gfy.com/fucking-around-and-business-discussion/465046-sales-week-week-bad-post7291719.html#post7291719 17 people average/above average week 11 people below average week Looks like there was no industry wide problems last week. And for those of you with isolated problems you better dig deeper then saying summer slow downs and kids out of school were the cause of your problems, poll above kinda destroys that logic. |

You've missed the point completely. It's not IF the government will or will not do it..it's the PERCEPTION! |

I just really don't think your friends are representative of your average surfer. I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm sure the govt is a tiny tiny factor somewhere, as im sure el nino is. i just don't think it's going to affect signups until they start locking joe surfer up for surfing a porn site.. which isn't ever going to happen unless something so drastic happens that this conversation will be the least of our concerns - ie meteors destroy all blue states and every ACLU member and a fanatical doomsday christian cult takes over. And even then they will be so repressed they will all have year long subs to euro sites. |

Where have you been the govt has been making worse threats then they are now, they have always been threating... so according to you the perception should have always been there. Just because your two friends are getting freaked out about signingup to sites now doesn't mean anything about the rest of the industry. Don't you think perception would have been greater when they arested extreme ass. Don't you think the perception was greater when bush got elected ? everyone was just waiting for the hammer to fall. this is no different. this is business as usual. And again, your friends logic is flawed... Quote:
