They are if I catch them -- they are getting blacklisted.
I run a narrow niche spanking and bondage TGP. I'm tired of all the assholes using Chameleon to autosubmit gay, tranny, teen, mature, femdom, and every other kind of content you can imagine. And then emailing me the next week going "why am I blacklisted?" Ya jerk, yer blacklisted because you didn't read the rules, and then broke them.
I also don't like the bogus recips that Chameleon inserts -- they look like valid recips, but they lead to pages that never send back one single hit. Fortunately there are only a few, so it's easy to recognize the buttons after a while and blacklist the gallery submitters using Chameleon.

AHHHHHHH, I see.
So basically, it boils down to alot of people, mostly newbies, using chameleon and pissing off alot of tgp owners and those tgp owners starting to get uber strict?

Yeah, that's about it. Only it's not newbies, it's assholes. There may be a few newbies, but most of these guys are *trying* to get around the rules.
If you use Chameleon intelligently, with the manual submit option to get you around my graphic filter and get your content into the right category with a good thumb, and with carefully-specified recips to other niche TGPs like mine, I'll never know you used it. But if you just fire-and-forget like most do, Chameleon will insert one of its known bogus recips and I'll blacklist you.

I'll admit, straight up that I did that once. Basically, I was new to auto-submitting and didn't really know what the hell I was doing. After barely getting listed anywhere and getting blacklisted on almost every tgp in my database, I realized I fucked up.
Alot of times, it is just a newbie.
I wouldn't purposely piss off tgp owners; that's just stupid and bad for my business.
But I completely understand where you're coming from.

Chameleon doesn't insert any bogus recips. The person running it decides what recips go on the page. If there's a bogus recip there it's because of the user, not the program.
If you're gonna bash something, at least have the sense to look at what the fuck you're talking about.

I'm told Chameleon users have a choice: you can decide what recips go on the page, or you can let Chameleon insert "appropriate" recips on the page for you.
By "bogus" recips I mean recips I've been seeing for a year now, that lead to fake TGPs that never seem to accept any galleries, and have never sent a single hit. Those are bogus recips no matter who is putting them in there.

That happens with almost every submitter, whether they use a submission program or not (not everyone goes through their 400+ submit list and weeds out TGPs that don't list any galleries ,etc.).
Don't tell me you expect to see lots of traffic come in through recip clicks -- Because you're not.
I have been talking to Forkbeard about this for a while, and he is right, the galleries that come from me usually have the so-called "bogus" recips on the pages that get sent to him. I don't think they are bogus, just crap tgps that are not even in his niche.
Like most people I think I can't hand submit to 1,000 tgps, I let it fly on auto and get excellent traffic and results.
When I do auto-submits with CS, a major percentage do get listed at decent tgps who like them and accept new ones over and over. On the whole I think its a great honest program but in Fork's case CS seems to have him mangled or perhaps on some kind of their own blacklist, haven't figured it out yet.
Having never clicked on a recip in my life though when surfing tgps, its hard to believe they are worth much. I appreciate Fork's side though that a shitload of crap comes flying in via CS.
Yup I use both chameleon and Advanced Submitter (my custom db) and get listed on all the bondage tgps, no problems. Good traffic and ROI everyones happy.

Of course not. But submitters who build galleries in my niche, and submit galleries with recips to the other TGPs in my niche, get their galleries accepted by all of us and I do get dozens of hits from the recips. It's not much, but it's *something*.
I'm not saying that the Chameleon folks are dishonest, because I don't think that. I'm just saying that folks who put that program on auto wind up submitting galleries that (a) break my rules and (b) have bogus recips. So they get blacklisted.
Not looking for drama, here, just trying to answer Nismo's question.
Actually there IS one sense in which I consider the Chameleon folks to be less than square dealers. I've emailed them repeatedly asking to be removed from their database, and they haven't done it. My TGP rules expressly forbid use of autosubmitters, but they won't remove me from their database. That suggests to me that they do intend their tool to be used by people who are spamming TGP submission links inappropriately.
They are if I catch them -- they are getting blacklisted.

I have to ask why with such a narrow niche you bother to have any auto submitter list you?
It would seem the guys promoting these sites will need to find you and you will not have the problem.
We use Chameleon 4 times a week and get loads of acceptances and awesome traffic for www.paulmarkhamteens.com

Grrrr. I think I said this an hour ago: I don't "bother" to have any auto submitter list me, I don't WANT any auto submitter to list me, and I've repeatedly requested that they stop listing me.
