              I use to make banners and I made some good cash at it. But for some dumb reason I closed my site and quit.

                  i obviously need to have you clued in.

                  as i said before, why would i pay $800 or $1200 for banners, which would take about 8 hrs of work, with very minimal skill.

                  i did say i would trade traffic for this instead, i already have a designer being paid $5,000 a month for site designs for me but he is tied up in doing paysites.

                  you should watch who you call cheap, i am no cheap skate, i was just not looking to pay for this task.

                                                                                          For $5K a month, plus the fact that he's already got all the layered design files @ his fingertips, I think the guy could easily crank out a few matching banners for the sites. If he can't, he should probably be replaced with someone who can.

                                                                                                              You're paying the guy to work as a designer. Part of that job is doing banners to match the sites. He's got the design files. It would be much easier for him to match them up using his design files from the paysites, than for someone else to spend all day recreating logos and the whatnot that you need for them.

                                                                                                              And you feel this is not worth $10 bucks per.

                                                                                                                                  you guys overprice your clients, and i am not going to be one of them...the only paysites or banners i would pay top dollar for, are ones done by wyldesites or aaaadultdesign or even bluedesignstudio

People want all kinds of pro graphics done for traffic instead of money, but don't seem to realize that the guys that do graphics all day long for a living really aren't in need of traffic.                                                                                                                                                                                       i asked for people who would like to make banners for me, to please contact me, if you do not like the terms of the deal, that is that, but then it takes off, starts a 50 post thread, because i want to trade traffic for banners? i don't see banner making as something you should have to spend alot of cash on, i mean 1 animated banner should take you 10min if you already have the logo of the site in a .psd file.

There's a few guys that posted in this thread that said they'd do it. Nothin' wrong with that. But when you start saying that the work we do isn't worth the money we charge for it BECAUSE you wanna pay with traffic instead of cash, that's when we get defensive. See where I'm comin' from?
