My Condolences-
Just feel blessed you had the opportunty of knowing her as well as you did-

I was blessed to have all my grandparents for a long time-
They are all gone now and I do miss them terribly- but it's a part of life- and you know that she'll always be there watching over you and your children- trust me on that.

She was an incredibly generous woman. She was good at picking up "stray puppies" and helping everyone, even so far as to open her home to people she thought she could help. My mother and I are the ones making all the arrangements for the funeral, cleaning out her apartment etc, and it's been one hell of a roller coaster day. I told the kids and they are doing ok with it, but my son (who spent the most time with her) is especially upset.. he's 6. Thanks again everyone for your support, it never ceases to amaze me what an incredible community we have here at GFY in the face of tragedy. Thanks again.

Lady M, I wish I had been close to my grandparents. I only remember one grandmother, and she was very old and dying when I met her. I always envied my friends who had wonderful grandmothers and grandfathers in their lives.

You are so lucky to have had such a special relationship with her. Cherish the memories.
