Well, since Jack was kind enough to bump this thread, I should probably mention a couple things that have changed in the last month.

First, addressing your concern re: overage rates: If you want to prepay, and commit to a certain amount of b/w usage, the rates are significantly cheaper. Our rates also vary depending on the datacenter that your plan uses. Naturally, multi tiered will cost more than standard lines.

We also have added basic virtual plans with rates beginning at $10/month.

We also have dedicated streaming servers beginning at $299/month.

Again, and no disrespect intended, if our rates seem too high, then you don't get it, and you really are not our target market.

We sell enough of these every day to know that our rates are more than reasonable, but you have to understand the service to appreciate it.

i have been working in the webhosting industry for years. in many data centers. and i have never heard of gotwebhost. strange. i guess i only hear of the big boys.

Well, that doesn't surprise me at all. We have NDA's with the datacenters we are involved with. We don't talk about them, they don't talk about us.

That's obviously because the average hosting customer isn't going to need SEO-type hosting with multiple C-class IPs.

Therefore, Gotwebhost isn't talked about much.

Very true, we have a very targeted market, and have no real goals of trying to compete with anyone else. They have their market, and we have ours.

It amuses me, the people that contact me because they think they get it, but don't, then think I am doing some high pressured sales pitch. Trust me, if you think I am doing you wrong, please go to someone else. there are many high quality hosts out there there that willingly take your business . . . if you don't get it, we are probably not the host for you.
