personality in the adult Internet industry, was terminated
today as a co-manager of that company, according to a
Net Management spokesperson.

The precise reasons for the termination have yet to be
elaborated upon, but Steven Workman, General Counsel
for Net Management, released the following statement to
AVN Online late this afternoon:

?It is the practice of Net Management Services, LLC to not make public comment on personnnel and employment matters. However, in light of the circulation of unfounded rumor and speculation, and in light of requests from the media for comment regarding the status of Joe Elkind, the company has authorized me to state that effective January 15, 2002, Mr. Elkind is no longer a co-manager of Net Management. It is the company?s intention to continue in a working relationship with Mr. Elkind, albeit in a consulting capacity. John Bennett remains as the sole manager of the company.?

Needless to say, as this story develops and the reasons for the termination are made known, AVN Online will make it available.

That's Extremely Doubtful!! You usually pull stunts that draw positive attention and let's not make any mistake about it ... getting rid of a founder looks like a HUGE deal to outsiders
