Fort Lauderdale to Detroit in about 22 or so hours.. post 9/11. Gawd, Ohio just about killed me.

The other longest drive for me was Detroit to Boston.. I think that was 12 or 14 hours or so.

Too dangerous to drive while tired, nothing is worth that.

28 hours from Winnipeg to Vancouver, 24 hours there, then 29 hours on the return trip.
A nice fast trip, with no sleep for 3 days. It was fun.

34 hours from Toronto to winnipeg ...and then I didnt' sleep for the 3 days I was there..I slept for 2 days straight when I got home!

24 hours partying in vegas at internext, flew home and sobered up when landed (no sleeping on flight), then hopped in truck and drove 3 hours... so like 27 hours awake, i passed out a couple times and swerved off the road, not cool.

48 hours to go from Seattle to Tulsa. I started hallucinating in Colorado.

I can't drive more than 4 hours without a break.

I fell asleep at the wheel once at 5AM on an LA freeway. Went from the inside #1 lane all the way over the freeway and got jostled awake by a CHP siren. The highway patrol car happened to be coming up behind me and he saved my life cause I would have gone off the highway and airborne with the direction I was heading. Super cool cop didn't even give me a ticket. Just said next time you come back from clubbing get some strong black coffee before you get behind the wheel and head home.

So ever since that incident I always stop and get a coffee if I'm out late at night.
