Fedex has never included import tax on anything they delivered to me. DHL however has done this many times. It's not a guarantee of course but for me and a lot of other Europeans Fedex has always been good.

Shipping it as parcel (marking it gift even) will not help avoiding import tax. That rule has long gone. I have tried this several times (from the US) but it doesn't fly anymore.

If it gets stuck in customs be prepared to some serious ass fucking in taxes and fees....just warning you (btw the "gift" idea doesn't work 100% nowadays, i would say not even 50% of the times)...
