I was actually a closet fan of the Back to the Future game....it got addictive...very fast moving...

Wizards and warriors was a good series...

I still think Built to Win was the best NES game of all time though

i forgot about top gun, it was a bitch for me to get the landing sequence down when i was younger... played it on an emulator lately, easy as pie.

Wow this thread brings back memories.

Contra rocked.
Mentroid was super fun.
Zelda was my first RPG.
Double Dragon was a great 2 player game.
Kid Icarus was addicting as hell.

I'd say my overal favorite is probably Zelda. When I first played it I was hooked forever. I played that game non stop till I finally beat it.....and then I found out about the secret second version of the game if you named yourself "Zelda" at the start.

I think I got my first Nintendo when I was like 10.

Want to really talk old school....who still has an Atari 2600?
