Online Advertising Surpasses DotCom Boom Levels!

I doubt we'll see a new burst anytime soon . The web is much bigger now, the market are well established and everybody learned a lot from the last bust .

The advertising is more "targetted" thus making a better ROI .

Online advertising wasn't the reason there was a bust.

A sour recollection of the last bust will have little bearing on the growth of traffic monetization activity (notice I don't say "advertising") of the next decade.

There is little reason to reflect on the folly of '97-'00, when the elements so conspicuously missing from those "busted" business models -- namely, revenue and profit -- are not only a standard of the New Web Business, but are eclipsing the asset-ROI of brick and mortar commerce by orders of magnitude.

That being said, though, we must hope that Wall Street does a good enough job helping the Investing Public to accept that, "Yes, we are actually printing money on the Web now..." --
