As you may or may not be aware, Sweden is not a state in the United States
of America. Sweden is a country in northern Europe.
Unless you figured it out by now, US law does not apply here.
For your information, no Swedish law is being violated.

Please be assured that any further contact with us, regardless of medium,
will result in
a) a suit being filed for harassment
b) a formal complaint lodged with the bar of your legal counsel, for
sending frivolous legal threats.

It is the opinion of us and our lawyers that you are fucking morons, and
that you should please go sodomize yourself with retractable batons.

Please also note that your e-mail and letter will be published in full on
http://www.thepiratebay.org.

Go fuck yourself.

Polite as usual,
anakata

that would be a funny reply if you had done your homework first. there are several fundamental problems with your legal defense.

Copyrights are Internationally protected.

Obviously you did not run this through your attorney as your reply suggests.

Nice to see that you gave a professional response, speaks volumes about you and your character. I'm sure your legal threats have them shaking in their leather recliners. BTW, if you think they cant sue you, how do you figure you can sue them using the anti frivolous lawsuit laws that we have here in the US. Or do you think that Swedish laws apply here in the states?

on a side note, I hope your host is not located within the States

Regardless of it's authenticity, it's funny as hell. You know that's what everybody really wants to reply to lawyers LOL

there is a little thing called the doctrine of unclean hands in the u.s. legal system. even if he was 100% justified a response like that can sink your ship so to speak.

dreamworks is notorious for sending harrasing legal threats with no basis..

he is right DMCA does not apply to sweden. There are other laws that may cover this in sweden , but dmca doesn't and not too many people will argue this.

Its sort of funny , but a lawyer reads it , and they are made of stone, only using it against you. they wont laugh.

You may or may not be protected in Sweden to an extent but any income you derive from the US or other countries can easily be levied.

Also talking to someone so totally unprofessionally like that typically provokes a "mission" to nail your ass.

If you think you have the resources to take on 3 of the most powerful Jews in Hollywood, Steven Spielberg, David Geffen, and Jeffrey Katzenberg and win, then dude you are in living in Dreamland for sure.

This is a very strange sentence:

Only by countries that have signed the copyright treaty agreement.
Sweeden with it's never ending policies of "Not getting involved" is not a signing nation on that.

Good pirates go to sweeden

hmmm, I think I can top that.
I had a lawyer send us some sort of bullshit C&D or legal action threat.
I took a digital pic of me holding it up so it could be read and then took another pic of me rubbing the letter against my ass.
I then emailed him the two pictures.
