they do, you just aren't seeing them

i know a few people that had them in their sigs last month, i guess rick decided not to renew...maybe he found that it wasn't a good enough return for the money

Where are the cjbucks.com ads on CJ? I don't see any. I visit CJ all the time, and I don't see them advertising cjbucks sites. I can remember seeing some a few times. That's all.

It doesn't really inspire people to be promoting cjbucks sites when CJ doesn't really promote them themselves. Makes you go....hmmmmm?
I post on GFY so that when people ask me what I do,
I can tell them that I work with the mentally retarded.

Well, aside from the fact that I'm sure Marc remains a Carolina fan to the death, look how nicely this thread turned out. Evan and Marc working together would probably generate some nice coin.

            OH, i misread

there are no cjbucks ads on CJ cause cjbucks is a mainstream site and why would they promote a webmaster program on their mainstream non-webmaster site?

as for the paysites that are in cjbucks not being advertised...adult video online is on the pull down menu, not sure why the rest aren't....maybe they found they can generate more revenue for the bottom line from advertisers and not from their own paysites

Just for the record Maxcash pays $35 PPS and added a nice rewards program. I know people have said PPS is dead and all that but more programs have raised payouts this year then lowered them that I know of.

Boatload of reasons. Mostly we figure the 65K-70K/day we send over from the SickFuckNetwork menu bar on the top of all our sites is enough. But, that said, there's also what you might have been fishing for. We need the newest and best sites to promote. Sadly, CJBucks doesn't have that. . . FOR NOW!!!

Don't worry, that's changing very, very, oh so very soon.

PPS programs can't make money without large volume, the margins are too slim. There's nothing mysterious in the fact that if your volume drops below a certain point you start to lose money since you don't have the outbound traffic to send off that you used to have.

Comparing yourself to Maxcash is rather over the top.

Now back to the CJ traffic drama....

                  2. Please show where I'm comparing myself to MaxCash. I am simply saying, "even maxcash can't pay that much per join anymore". In other words, "Even a huge company such as Maxcash thinks that's too much per join".

No edit: I don't give a fuck what your overblown, overequated ego attempts to pass off as reality in your own little world. I'm not trying to be anything.

                    1. Gee, if that's the case, why aren't you out of the limelight like successful folks such as Rich and Bob, Ron, Al H, and the rest of that gang? Gee, I guess I've just answered my own question.

                    2. In other words, Maxcash isn't so huge as they once were. They know it. Every other sizable program owner knows it. They are very smart businessmen who understand the bottom line. I didn't, haven't and won't say that Rich and Bob didn't do very well for themselves over the years, both before and after their dominance of the adult internet.

People think I've got ego issues on occasion -- especially if they've never sat down to talk real business with me. No problem there. Big mouth blonde, spouting off at the mouth.

You, on the other hand... just stop now before you bury yourself yet again. Your claim to fame is the proverbial sucking of Gary Kremen's internet dick when you needed some money and he happened to have some. No one else I know that was running a program in '97 does as poorly as you unless they fell into a coked out, doped up haze that took them years to recover from. You don't have that excuse.

Now back to the love and kisses in the CJ thread.

So, by your own words... what's your excuse?

EDIT AGAIN: Be nice, Donny. Be nice.

Kimmy, do you have any idea what my annual income is? The answer is that you do not. You don't have any idea what ANYONE's annual income is. But if you wished to know about me you could ask around a bit. Who really cares?

I'd say I haven't done half bad, but I'm also not going to brag too much. There is no need. This isn't about me. This is about overpaying for clicks. According to their pricing structure, CJ thinks their traffic is better than Google's. I buy some great keywords for much much less than what is being offered here.

It's okay to stick your head up someone's ass because they are, in your opinion, "well known". I'm a little disappointed that you embody some typical stereotypes that I won't get into (trying to become a kinder, gentler person) but that's your business.

In the meantime, good luck in your business (or lack thereof).

You really are a dumbass. CJ's traffic might just be better than Google's, who are you, the judge, jury and executioner? I'd bet everything I've made (and your annual income probably doesn't pay for my shoes either pal) and everything you've made to date that when someone like Evan stops his train of thought to give things a try, you might just learn something.

But then again, even a blind squirrel catches a nut once in a while (or maybe not in your case).

As to stereotypes (and you certainly fit the one that says that 95% of this business couldn't collectively manage a Wendy's into profitability), you go right on with your big, bad, green eyeshadow wearing self. As a matter of fact, maybe you can get some blue eyeshadow tonight.

One last word to the unwise. I don't particularly care if you're nice or not. You're harmless.

A decent site retains at least that well and since we're now 1 1/2 months back sold on this spot (despite some people's efforts to de-rail the thread), I think both old and new customers see the value.

                          Thanks to everyone else. :-)
Well.. It's easy to have 2.5+ month retention but not with trials. Only a very select amount of paysites have 2.5+ month average retention with trials. MOST of the sponsors being pushed on CJ don't have 2.5+ month retention even without trials. Some do though

I'm not trying to bust your balls.. We both know how programs earn the extra dime, 39.95 monthly costs, 5 exits, xsales that don't tell the visitor the user/pass to the other sites, backout ads, you name, they do it to help cover the cost of the pps so it would only make sence that you can earn money from your traffic.

Myself, no exits, no xsales, no spam, just 2 paysites that retain. Waiting 2.5 months to START earning a profit is pretty bad. It's the same reason I don't have a $35 pps, not enough profit per sale and I don't push enough volume to make it worth my time.

I don't need to buy CJ traffic anyway, you guys already send us some. Earns 3.5 cents a click. With a mixture of $20 and $30 memberships. You have a few members that have been rebilled over a year.

                            Kimmy,

At the end of the day you're still a lonely middle aged individual wishing she'd done better for herself, voicing her opinions on things she knows nothing about while STILL working for others... and thinking that receiving a 1099 means she's working for herself, when it fact it just shows you're not smart enough to ask to be a regular employee with benefits.

Your lack of success and depression that results are not my problem. Your past history of working for numerous companies makes you an expert on nothing. It simply shows you can't hold a job.

I've been working for myself for 8 years now. I'd be willing to bet I pay my top employee more per year than you've made in your career in this industry.

As this is not about me and I've said my piece I'll be going to bed now, sleeping very well and feeling happy about positively affecting the lives of many individuals in many different ways, one of which is the fact that my beautiful 5 year old son has a mother who stays at home with him each day because I pay her a multiple more than I'd ever be legally obligated to pay if I was the deadbeat ex- most women speak of. Instead I'm the ex that is bragged about and held up as a great example of what a father should be.

While others in this business put their money into "bling bling", I put mine into LIFE. Things that matter. Things that change people for the better. Things that brighten someone elses day.

And I NEVER kiss the ass of someone else because of who they are. I may show appreciation when it is deserved, but I don't kiss the ass of those with the "bling" and the debt that comes with it.

You're quite the annoying one, sticking your nose into things you'll never understand, pretending that you do. Why don't you go rub your child's shoulders or read him a book instead of wasting time sucking the dick's of people who will never throw you a bone no matter how hard you try to make them like you? I assure you, life will be better if you follow this advice.

Good night, Kimmy. The emptiness and depression can be taken away if you just give some thought to what's really important in life, I promise.

I always pick the wrong weeks to quit smoking.

The only comment that I'd really choose to make is that I've apologized to Evan in public and have tried as hard as I could to break through to him and get along. I support his product launches and don't cause any problems.

Marc was right. I have little to do with the day-to-day operations of CJ. I've never posted a piece of content on the site and wouldn't even know how to do it. I try in every interview to get the focus off CJ when it comes to me, and give credit to Marc and Paul when the questions won't relent. Nevertheless, the buck stops here and as the front man I'll take the brunt of attacks because that's what my role is.

It gets tiring though. It gets very tiring.

Marc, Paul and I work very hard to launch innovative products and services and build tight relationships with everyone in this business. I have a few enemies as all successful people do but the one common denominator in them all is that I've never actually gotten to know them. It would be great to spend some real time with Evan. I'm sure we have more in common than we don't.

I'll be in Tahoe the 16th of December through the 2nd of January. If for whatever reason we don't get together before then, I could head over to San Francisco. I love the town and love the warf.
