Sublime fans will love this Players Ball because our band is really made up of...

OK, here's the connection to this upcoming San Diego Players Ball June 14th.

When Sublimes lead singer Brad died, the group would no longer play under the name Sublime. Instead, they formed a new band with the remaining members of Sublime and added a bunch of other artists to this group. They became Long Beach Dub All-Stars. When Long Beach Dub first started, The Players Ball had them perform at our very first Ball in 1999. They played all Sublime and Long Beach Dub tunes, not too many people realized who that band was back then but everyone loved that they played Sublime tunes.

Well, Long Beach Dub broke up again and split up into a couple of different groups. One group is the band that is backing up our reggae legend in San Diego, The Dubcats. Oh yeah, the reggae legend performing will be Half Pint who also has songs with Long Beach Dub All-Stars.

Dubcats is also comprised of another group some of you might know called Hepcat (Ska/Reggae band).

Anyway, just thought I'd share that with you. I know there are tons of Sublime / Long Beach Dub All Star fans in our biz.

That was a great patio last year.

This year we're keeping the party at the hotel by pool from 5:30 pm until 9:00 pm.

D$: Please refer to the Player's Handbook chapter 1, section 1.1 line 69 that states quote "Whenever the Original Player's Ball and LBdub are mentioned in the same paragraph a nod to Team Homegrown is required per the O.G code authorities and recommendations..." end quote...

Congrats on the show! (my college rooommate Dust Brother EZ Mike was one of the producers on tone loc's original record, btw)

Eric Wilson most recently played in a band called Eyes A Drift. They are still together but almost rarely tour.

LOL

And of course I can thank my friends over at Team Homegrown, for if we weren't doing business together at that time, that very first Players Ball and Long Beach Bub All-Stars would have never happened!

Much love to my amateur porn friends!

That was a classic Players Ball.

So that's the plan.
