As for my clients' work such as your designs, I rarely do that on weekends and holidays as I like to leave some time to myself. If you can, add the AIM screen name "Grumble" to your ICQ list and contact me through that name, I'll update you with the designs. Hope to hear from you soon, I'm assuming you didn't see my last post last night so hopefully you'll catch this one. |

Also, let me upload the TABCTL dependency. It also goes in X:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 path.

tried that Scour thing... (been waiting for you to post this)
searched.. picked a domain.. then clicked the purchase button, and DirectNic gives me this: IP Address: XXX.XXX.XX.XX Maximum Daily connection limit reached. Lookup refused. and the domain wasn't available anyway.. |
sweet programs, thanks
|
Hm, let me try it out. Some of the domains aren't always available because of DNic database errors, not sure how to get a workaround.

Nice work man

Yet another person you failed to deliver upon. "I rarely do that on weekends and holidays as I like to leave some time to myself" You rarely do it at all! Seems to be a bad habbit of yours lately doesn't it? You're lucky my buddy didn't expose your ass for what it really is here last week when I told him to. He's too nice of a guy. There's others you have failed to deliver upon as well that I know of. Matt, don't expect to get the goods delivered. This guy jerked around a buddy of mine for almost a month and it took 3 weeks to get a refund out of his sorry ass. |

Wow looks as though my attempts to share what I thought would be usefu software has turned into a drama/bashing thread. That's always fun.
Let me re-iterate what happened with your friend Iwantchixx, being that I don't know who you are and I'm assuming you heard second-hand from your friend what happened. If my assumptions are correct, your friend is Lex. He contacted me about re-designing a template for NoModels.com, we agreed upon $50 USD to start, the balance paid later if necessary, and I was told not to rush it, that he wasn't in a hurry. So for this reason I pushed the project to the back-burner. A week or so goes by and Lex contacts me, irate that I have nothing to show him (and before you rape me for this, it could be longer, hell it could have been a month as you say, I don't know for certain). So I bust my balls completing a design for him that night, send him the draft, and a few days he replies saying that he thinks it'd be better for each of us if the project were to be taken elsewhere. I tell him I'll gladly refund his $50 USD when I have available funds. Some time goes by and without money in PayPal, I contact my friend to make the refund from his account. All was taken care of and both parties ended in good terms. I will always admit my faults, and my turnaround time is occasionally one of them. I oftentimes run sales or specials and in doing so amount more work than I expect, so each project takes a bit longer than I imagined. Nysus and another client of mine have both been waiting a week for their designs, and I absolutely take responsibility for the delay, but for the most part it's out of my hands. I finish projects as they come in, and where people end up in my queue is when their work is returned. |
bump for the most helpful GFY thread ever
