Ever Get A Cheque And You Have No Idea Whom From???

I just got a cheque in the mail for $35 from a company called Innovative Ideas. I don't remember pushing any of their programs but I guess I made a sale somewhere and they paid me for it??

I'm not complaining but who the hell is it??

Innovative Ideas is ARS

I get that sometimes, not knowing who checks are from...but, would you want to cash a check from Teenage Cum Bitches, Inc? ;)))

The checks did say ARS a while ago, but since they have had direct deposit - I have gone with that. Not sure when they switched to the other name.

LOL!!! I feel so stupid sure enough the big "ARS" is right there in the middle of the cheque!!

Funny as it may seem I had a cheque written out to "DrinkingHard" the other day. I went to the bank not even thinking about it and the teller says "Ummmm sir.... Do you have a business account??" I say ummmmm no not yet... And she says well you can't cash this cheque unless your legal name is DrinkingHard. LOL! I was so embarrassed!! She was probably telling her other teller friends all day about the dumb asshole who came into cash this cheque!

Sorry about that Gary!

Our programmer added a new tracking system that records all of our paypal transactions into our accounting software.....unfortunately he forgot to mark the paypal ones as paypal so all the paypal transactions got printed out as checks when we batch printed our checks during payroll.

Speaking of unknown checks, I got one for 1$
Can you imagine that! After all I live overseas, and the postage must have been more. Do they really think I'd cash that check?

I wasn't adult sponsor though, something else

My lowest ever check was for $0.47, from a non-adult affiliate program. To their great credit, they paid my my entire "balance owing" at the time I quit their affiliate program. Unfortunately, since I'm overseas I pay something like 10x that just to deposit a check!

$1 checks are a classic from ´97 or so. One well known company (IEG) sent these checks even if you stopped sending them clicks.
(Most people did stop because there were "rumors" of enormous shaving)
Anyways, I suppose the point was to try to get the webmaster to start advertising them again when he gets a "reminder" check.

I could be totally wrong here, though
But I think there was someone who had like dozens of those checks.

Hell, I've saved checks from IEG for $0.03. They weren't worth the paper or the postage.

LoL! Damn...that was a long time ago...

I had a friend that tried to cash one of those piss checks, only to be hit with a $10-15 insufficient funds charge.

I live in the bible belt so I always get odd looks, from the old ladies at the bank, when cashing adult sponsor checks.

Guess we're lucky ones.
I personally receive a check every month, between $30 and $200. No clue where it comes from, never heard about the company and can't find their site. But of course, they are called 'sponsors'
